About

Our Story

In 2009 Sarah and Adam Eimer were both working in the Hospitality/Service industry and were ready for a change. Sarah has an eye for color and design while Adam is more production and systems oriented. Together, they started a side project that would eventually become Flatland Threads (formerly called Uncommon Threads).

Beginning in a small town outside of KC, MO (Parkville), they continued to grow and expand, deciding to move to Emporia, KS to be closer to family and opened a store front on Commercial Street.

Over the next 16 years the business has been upgraded and expanded to offer automated screen printing, embroidery, heat transfers and heat transfer vinyl, promotional products of all shapes and sizes, and more.
